We all recognize what colour coat a dog may wear if it is a guide dog or a therapy dog, but Yellow Dog Charity is currently promoting a new campaign to educate the public on what a yellow coat represents when worn on a dog. If you notice that a dog is wearing a yellow coat, this means that the dog needs extra space and should be accommodated to make sure that it does not feel overwhelmed, scared or react.
On the Slaves To The Rhythm Blog, https://slavestotherhythm.monkjackpublishing.com/ we love to cover the latest music releases and review a mix of albums and singles but now we would like to turn your attention to this campaign. Most of us have furry friends and all know that we would love to make them feel as comfortable as they possibly could both at home and when they are out in public.

Many of the top Dog magazines have shared the Yellow Dog word, https://dogstodaymagazine.co.uk/2022/02/21/living-with-a-yellow-dog/ with their readers, understanding the importance of this campaign and we would like to introduce to you Yellow Dog Campaign too. This is a charity that helps protect and educate dogs that socially struggle. It is often very common for dogs to need space if they are suffering with health conditions, trauma or they’re in the process of being rehabilitated. In these circumstances both dog and owner need help.
The Yellow Dog Campaign want you to remember that yellow is the colour of space. If you see a dog in a yellow coat, it means that that pooch needs a bit of space and will feel more comfortable if you show them little attention when passing.
Please contact lisa@quitegreat.co.uk if you would like to interview Alison about Yellow Dogs and her personal experiences that led to this passionate campaign.

Yellow Dog UK is a Registered Charity raising awareness that some dogs and their owners need space. We pledge to supply free yellow ribbons to owners whose dogs needs space and that all donations will be used to promote and raise awareness of the campaign.
